DESTROY THE MYTH THAT TEENAGE GIRLS WHO IDENTIFY AS BISEXUAL ARE DOING IT FOR ATTENTION

Oh, but so many of them are…

That’s not the point. The point is that it’s become unsafe and uncomfortable for teenage girls to be themselves without being told that they aren’t good enough or authentic enough. The entire population of bisexuals are under scrutiny because everyone perpetuated the idea that teenage girls are identifying as bisexual for attention. Why aren’t people allowed to simply say what they are without being shot down for it? If someone says they are bisexual, no one has any business disputing it other than themself.

The man with metal blood.
Eric Virkeliglangtnavn of Norway is unique among the seven billion people on Earth: He likes Nickelback. No but seriously, he has fucking METAL BLOOD.
In normal blood, hemoglobin bonds with oxygen to carry it to cells. In Eric’s bloodstream however, hemoglobin is not present. Oxygen in his blood cells is instead carried by Gallium, which forms an identical bond. Scientists remain uncertain how Mr. Virkeliglangtnavn contracted the condition, but some theroize that his mother listened to Darkthrone while pregnant.

This is a picture of mercury flowing out of someone’s hand. Five seconds of Google people. Five fucking seconds.

The URL is literally facts I just made up did u even really have to google that

passive aggressive family members

"guess i’ll never be a grandma"

"guess i’ll never be an aunt"

"guess i’ll never be able to dress a niece/nephew"

stop feeling so entitled to my hypothetical offspring. it is not yours. it is mine. i will grow it if i grow it. and it will be mine. not yours. i am not an incubator which grants you familial titles. jesus. go away. this “have a baby i can play with” thing is so impersonal and insensitive and annoying.

The most dangerous phrase in the language is, “we’ve always done it this way.”

"Come on, let’s mix it up!" The heart surgeon says.
"B-but we’ve always done it this way!" The other replies, "this is how you replace a heart valve."
"That’s the most dangerous phrase in the human language!" The first surgeon replies haughtily as he inputs a fruit loop into the patient’s heart. "This will be his valve. He will be a fruit loop in a world of Cheerios."

(taken from this post on the experiments of Harry Harlow)
This is serious business, because this is a large part of how sexism, racism, homophobia, rape culture, ethnocentrism, etc. continue to happen.

That bullshit heart surgery example doesn’t even make sense though, does that person think that we’re still doing heart surgery the exact same way we’ve always done heart surgery? As if medicine isn’t constantly changing and updating? Wow it’s almost like people are finding excuses to not have to think critically about the world!
